Cat6 Patch Panels
D-Link Category 6 patch panels have six RJ45 ports and are compatible with both 110 and Krone punch-down tools. They are appropriate for 22-26 AWG stranded and solid wire. D-Link patch panels now offer an optional Cable Management bar that terminates four pairs of UTP cables.
In a local area network, an Ethernet patch panel, also known as a copper patch panel, provides connectivity for Ethernet applications. Cat5e patch cable, Cat6 patch cable, and Cat6a patch cable are the most common varieties of Ethernet patch panels used in network cabling. Ports on the copper patch panel come in a variety of sizes, including 24 ports and 48 ports.

Cat6 Patch Panels are typically rack-mounted and contain cable connections. On the front, a normally shorter patch cable will be plugged in, while on the back, a much longer and more permanent wire will be connected. The hardware is assembled in such a way that a number of circuits, usually of the same or similar type, appear on jacks for convenient and flexible monitoring, linking, and testing of circuits.
